We strive to build learning relationships that support children's growth, development, and well-being. These relationships are characterised by mutual learning between the adult and the child. We have found that such relationships enhance our connection with others and contribute to our well-being. Collaboration involves working together cooperatively to achieve common goals. This can be achieved through information sharing, joint planning, and developing shared objectives and understandings. Emotional harmony and connections, collaboration, and well-being result in a sense of belonging for our entire centre community.

Literacy development is a crucial aspect of a child's growth. To learn how to read and write, children must first develop the fundamental building blocks for literacy, such as speaking, listening, understanding, watching, and drawing. As they grow older, they need to learn the connections between letters on a page and spoken sounds.
How can we support literacy development in our centre?
Reading aloud to children, singing, talking, and developing social skills are all important.
Children need plenty of exposure to pictures, objects, letters, and words, including how they look, sound, and what they are called.

Our organisation strongly believes in the value of physical activity and its positive impact on children's health and well-being. We aim to promote active lifestyles and develop motor skills among children by introducing them to various sports and physical activities through our sports program. We collaborate with an external company to deliver this program to each centre.
We also incorporate the munch and move program into our daily program to teach children Fundamental Movement Skills, which are the basic movements associated with Locomotor skills, such as jumping, running, galloping, leaping, hopping, and side-sliding. They also include Manipulative skills such as catching, underarm rolling, dribbling, striking, kicking, and throwing. Additionally, Stability skills such as balancing, stretching, and twisting are vital skills we teach children through our program.

Play is essential to healthy child development and well-being for individuals and communities. It is characterised by various features, including being freely chosen, self-directed, pleasurable, meaningful, symbolic, and intrinsically motivating. Play-based learning is a context and process through which children actively engage with people, objects, and representations to organise and make sense of their social worlds. It provides a valuable opportunity for children to learn and grow while having fun.
Our cooking classes allow children to explore interactive food and nutrition experiences. With our expert chefs and Educators, children can explore different ingredients, introduce cooking skills, and whip up tasty and wholesome treats. Children learn best through hands-on experience, so we encourage them to experiment with new foods and textures.
Our garden club is a great way to connect children with nature. We allow them to experience the joys of gardening and learn about plants. Through planting and nurturing activities, children develop an appreciation for the environment. Even in a city environment, it's essential to give children the chance to connect with nature.
